ペナンではゲストハウス、つまり安宿に泊まった。エアコン、トイレ、シャワー付きで４０リンギット、１２００円程度だから、ホテルの５～10分の１程度。ファン付き、シャワー、トイレ共同なら２０ぐらい。いろいろ見せてもらったが、泊まりたくないようなところもあった。浜辺では、「深夜特急」（３枚目）に泊まらないでしまった。ちょっと残念。泊まったのは４枚目の「Ｅ＆Ａ」部屋は明るく、こぎれいだった。
