葉裏に棘

レイクガーデンに行ったときだ。この長い草の葉を根元のほうからなでていたら、突然「痛！」指先に血が吹き出している。ナンダナンダ？！よく見ると、写真のごとく、葉裏に固い棘がびっしり。それも下向きで。これはナンダ。引き抜かれまいという、対人間対策か。 恐ろしい草、だけではバランスが悪いので、やさしげな花も並べる。 胡蝶蘭のようにきわだつのでなく、草っぽくてつつましそう。 痛い草 白い釣り花
